John K Brown - Writer, Producer and Director

John K. Brown began his career at the very young age of 9 on Broadway and God has blessed him with a career in this industry. He grew up in Louisville, KY and attended performing art schools from late elementary school through college. His continued Broadway theatre credits include Hello Dolly, Miss Saigon, The Lion King, West Side Story and Bob Fosse’s Pippin. His television credits include Leadership Coordinator for “Enviropals” (currently running on PBS) and a 10 year member of the acclaimed international acapella group Rockapella (from the hit PBS show “Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego”). He has worked with World Class Artists such as Phil Collins, Tina Turner, Steve Tyler, and the great Julie Andrews.

As a Gospel Artist and servant, he has made debuts on shows such as The Bobby Jones Show, Atlanta Live and the Gospel Association Expo as well as TV shows such as CNN, Fox and Friends and The Wendy Williams Show. His music has been played on over 30 nationwide radio stations including Sirius XM. His single “Nobody Like Jesus” has been named #1 on the Gospel acapella charts and Billboard international. 

John is currently the Creative Director and Associate Worship Leader at Church At The Cross and Fine Arts Director at the church’s school Central Florida Christian Academy. He is also the Voice instructor and co-coordinator at PAA (Performing Arts Academy of Central Florida)
